In our Diamond Harbour Women's University library, we take plagiarism seriously to uphold academic integrity. Plagiarism is checked through several methods: Plagiarism Detection Software: We utilise plagiarism detection tools that scan submitted documents, including research papers, essays, and assignments, to identify any similarities with existing sources. This helps us identify potential instances of plagiarism. Citation and Reference Verification: Library staff may conduct manual checks on citations and references in academic work to ensure they are properly formatted and attributed. Incorrect or missing citations can be a sign of plagiarism. Educational Programs: We offer educational programs and workshops to educate students and faculty about plagiarism, proper citation practices, and the importance of academic integrity.
