The Diamond Harbour Women’s University organises various socio-cultural events throughout the year. Some of them are held regularly every year, while the others are meant to commemorate or celebrate certain occasions.

- Week-Long Commemoration Programme of Swami Vivekananda’s Historical Chicago Address, 1893.
- Enactment of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein by the students to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the text. The screenplay was also composed by them in adaptation of the original novel.
