Annual Convocation I, 2018

The Diamond Harbour Women´s University held its first Annual Convocation on the 8th February, 2018, and the successful post-graduate students of the first two batches (2014-16 and 2015-17) were awarded their degrees. The occasion was graced by His Excellency Shri Keshari Nath Tripathy, Honourable Chancellor, Diamond Harbour Women’s University, and Governor, West Bengal. Prof. Sanghamitra Bandyopadhyay, Director, Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, has delivered the Convocation Address.

The University took pleasure in conferring the Doctor of Literature (Honoris Causa) to Smt. Alokananda Roy, eminent dancer and social activist, and Smt. Nirmala Mishra (in absentia), legendary singer.
