IQAC

Composition, Functions and Role:

Following the UGC guidelines, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) in the University was set up in June 2022 as a post-accreditation quality assurance measure for the performance appraisal, evaluation and accreditation and quality improvement of the institution. Prof. Kajal De, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of the University is currently the Chairperson, and Prof. Raj Kumar Kothari is the Director of the IQAC. The IQAC is represented by three distinguished external members – who come from diverse backgrounds – as well as few senior internal members.
IQAC’s primary responsibility is to ensure quality improvement and maintenance. It ensures the efficiency and effectiveness of measures/methods taken to deliver highquality education and evaluates the extent to which each task is performed. As quality improvement is an ongoing process, the IQAC has become integral part of the University which constantly works towards achieving the goal.
